13 July 2009 | Successful Summer Congress
Around 100 people gathered at Regent’s College in London for the Russam GMS 3rd Summer Congress on 1st July. The main aim of the day was to explore the ways in which our economy - primarily from an employment (interim) perspective - will have changed through this recession. A strong line up of speakers from varying market sectors discussed the issues from their different perspectives and TMA (UK) Board Director, David Hole, expounded on the state of play in the Turnaround market in the UK. An inspirational conclusion to the day was provided by Ian Peglar, who gave a compelling account of how his career in Interim Management led to him to manage the turnaround of Little Chef and consequently being invited to become CEO of one of Britain's best known mortorway rstaurants.
