In our extremely busy lives it is often difficult to attend each event for the various insolvency and turnaround organisations. With this in mind, TMA (UK) and R3 will be holding a ground breaking joint half day conference on 28th April kindly sponsored by Jardine Lloyd Thompson and Naismiths.
The event will commence with registration and tea, coffee and biscuits in the reception area on the 6th floor of the The Future Inn Cabot Circus Hotel in Bristol from 1.30pm, and the first speaker will start at 2pm. The event is aimed at a wide audience of professionals involved in turnaround and insolvency. All are welcome and should benefit from this excellent training and networking opportunity.
Note: There is a flat rate of £50 per head for all bookings.
We are delighted to welcome the following speakers to the stage for the day:
- Mark Beresford-Smith, Senior Economist with HSBC Bank Plc – economic update and an insight from the Bank’s perspective on the current economic climate.
- Viv Du Feu, Partner at Capital Law LLP – Power Generalisation Insight – a presentation on generational styles based on the work by US Generational Expert, Cam Marston in his book “Motivating the “what’s in it for me?” workforce”. The presentation will give you an understanding of the four generational groups in the workforce today and give an insight into how to successfully integrate them into a productive and competitive workforce.
- Justin Bickle of Oaktree Capital Management, and Senior Vice President of Principal Investments – Justin will give us a different perspective, looking at turnaround through the eyes of an investment fund. He will also discuss the recent successful turnaround of Countrywide Estate Agents.
The formal presentations will conclude at 5pm and there will then be an opportunity to address questions arising from the afternoon’s presentations, or more generally, to a panel of experts. The healthy debate prompted from the Q&A session will no doubt continue over drinks and canapés, to be served from 6pm onward when there will be an opportunity for networking with fellow insolvency and turnaround professionals..jpg)
