Our expertise
Our global restructuring and insolvency group acts for corporates, creditors, regulators and insolvency practitioners on a broad range of restructuring, refinancing and advisory work and formal insolvency assignments across the insolvency spectrum. We specialise in complex transactions, and our work is often cross-border where our role is to find commercial solutions that reconcile quickly and effectively the differing requirements of local legal regimes.
'[The firm] has been involved in many of the major UK restructurings and insolvency matters in the past year. The commercial and cohesive group is well versed in complex, cross-border transactions such as Telewest and Eurotunnel, and has acted for a myriad of financial institutions in British Energy, Courts and Jarvis. The group is also building up it's creditor-led practice and succeeded in raising its profile within the banking industry.'
Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession 2007
In March 2007, the restructuring and insolvency team won both the Deal of the Year 2007 (for its role on Eurotunnel) and the prestigious Restructuring Team of the Year award at the International Financial Law Review awards.
